About Us

PropDrop supplies beautiful handcrafted scenic surfaces and backdrops for the photography and film industries. 

Our surfaces are painted with care and consideration, each one having between 4-8 layers of paint which gives them beauty and depth to elevate your product.

To finish they have a polyurethane varnish to protect the surfaces from spillages and knocks. 

About Charlie Stuart-Grumbar 

Charlie is the founder of PropDrop. Training at Central Saint Martins in performance design, for the last 12 years, she has worked across film, editorial and theatre as a set designer and scenic artist.

She came up with PropDrop to enable her love of creating textures and noticing a lack of quality painted and crafted surfaces available for hire and purchase.
